Our Premium Stallion Saint Cyr was named after the double Olympian Champion in dressage Henri Saint Cyr. He is a stallion with good type, that always moves with a lot of cadence and elastic powerful uphill movements coming through from behind. He has correct limbs with big strong hoof. He is showing a lot of talent jumping with good scope as well as ability. Saint Cyr comes from the proven and successful Hämelschenburger family of Schwalbenburg. He has a lovely temperament, always well behaved with good manners and great trainability.
His X-rays are very good.

Lars Gehrmann, breeding director of the Trakehner Verband, described Saint Cyr at his grading as follows: a practical stallion of exellence, swinging through the whole body at any step or stride he takes. Showing strong nerves in any situation. With Enrico Caruso and Ibikus on both sides in his pedigree, rideability is consolidated and bred into him.

Saint Cyr is the third premium graded stallion out of his famous mother Schwalbenspiel, who is also mother to Champion Stallion Songline and Premium Stallion Shavalou. In Saint Cyr she produced a stallion with three equally good paces.

Saint Cyr passed his 70-day performance test in Schlieckau as a 3 year old against strong competition. His marks are as follows: Character 9.0, Temperament 8.0, Willingness 9.0, Konstitution 8.0, Trot 8.5, Canter 8.25, Walk 7.5, Rideability 8.0, Jumping 8.38

His foals are presenting themselves with loose, elastic, powerful movements with good rhythm and cadence. They have good type and harmonious closed bodies.

Abstammung:

His sire Kostolany is one of the breed's most popular stallions, and has been high in demand ever since he was the champion in Neumünster. In 2009, the Trakehner Verband is awarding him the title "Stallion of the year", also in light of the earth shattering success his grand son Moorland's Totilas has had at the European Championships in Windsor this year. Kostolany has many approved sons, such as EH Gribaldi, Tolstoi, the Grand prix winner Showmaster, Sans Souci, or Silvermoon, sire of Cadeau and the 2006 WEG shooting star Matine. He is also known as a producer of very versatile performance horses, be it in dressage (e.g. Shannon TSF, Bonus TSF), show jumping (e.g. Pretty Woman, Amazing TSF) or eventing (e.g. Bertone, Kinski, Karlos). Kostolany's sire Enrico Caruso *Pg*E* left a huge mark on the American Trakehner breed as well, where he stood at stud for the greater part of his live. Enrico Caruso's many North American approved sons include the PSG competitor Kovington, the premium Tanzeln, and e.g. the intermediate eventers Incantare and Pavarotti. In Europe, he is also sire of the UK-based Neumünster reserve champion Trocadero. Kostolany's dam line, which traces back to the half Arabian Kassette, is one of the biggest and most dominant of the entire breed.

Elitemare Schwalbenspiel is already dam of the premium stallion Shavalou and the 2006 Champion stallion Songline, who qualified for the Bundeschampionat of the German Event Horse in 2009. The dam line carries a succession of outstanding Trakehners, going back to Hämelschenburg's exceptional Schwalbenburg. Her approved sons are Stradivari, Showmaster, Sans Souci and Schwadroneur, while her daughter Burgschwalbe produced the champion stallion Seigneur, and her dam Schwalbenlied produced the champion stallion Santiago.
